The 4th Philippine Homeschool Conference: What Others Had to Say About It

I haven't had the time to write my own post about the 4th Philippine Homeschool Conference last weekend (deadlines, deadlines, when will it all end?! LOL!), so let me just share with you what a few participants had to say about it:

My fellow ROCKERs moms (and seatmates at the conference! Heehee!):
Racquel
Myra

What a few other bloggers had to say:
A dad blogger's take on it
Joy sharing Debra Bell's Key Factors for Homeschooling Success
Mama Sel's posts connected to the 4th Philippine Homeschool Conference

I'll try to write my own post, soon! Lord, help me please! :D

P.S. Here's a photo that Myra posted on the ROCKERs FB group page:
Myra, me, Maricel (of Medela Moms), Mariel (of The Learning Basket) and Kim
Thank You, LORD, for these fab mommas! :) And everyone else in ROCKERs! :)
Homeschooling in the Philippines is SOOO much easier because of them!

hi teacher Mama TINA! I saw from your previous blog that Homeschool of Asia Pacific or HAP is one of your choice for home school provider. I am now choosing which home school provider for my daughter which recently I had a not favorable experience with one of the home school provider. I would like to know if Homeschool of Asia Pacific/ HAP is accredited? Thank you!

Hi Tina, I am currently an independent homeschooler(just started last year) but I am following a US based Catholic curriculum. I am trying to find some Catholic homeschoolers that my children can meet. I have 6y/o, 4/yo, 2y/o. I wonder if you know of some activities for homeschooling families? Warm regards, Gloria.

Hi Jen! I am SUPER sorry for this late reply! As far as I know, HAP is accredited with Dep Ed, but I am not sure. :) You can try contacting them through their website to be doubly-sure though. (http://homeschoolofasiapacific.com/contact-us/).

HOWEVER, please let me say, too, that as far as I know, HAP is not in the list of accredited HS providers that the Homeschool Association of the Philippine Islands has. :)

Also, FYI, we are not enrolled with them. We're homeschooling independently for now, though we may enroll with Kolbe next month.

Thanks for dropping by and sorry again for the late reply. :) If you're in need of support pala, feel free to join our FB group - just look for ROCKERs Philippines and ask to be added to the group. :)

God bless!

Hi Mommy Gloria! :) Thanks for dropping by. We are also independent homeschoolers and are mostly eclectic. :) What curriculum are you using?

If you're in need of support, feel free to join our FB group - just look for ROCKERs Philippines and ask to be added to the group. :) We usually meet monthly and have activities for the kids and then free time for parents to chat afterwards. :)

Where are you based ba? If we live near each other, maybe we could have a regular playgroup or something. :)

Please feel free to send me a message thru my FB page: www.facebook.com/trulyrichteachermamatina or email me at teachermamatina@gmail.com. :)
God bless!
