Who is TeacherMamaTina?
I am blessed to be Catholic, proud to be Filipino and Chosen to be the wife and mission partner of Anthony, mom of (as of November 2010) 4 year old Timothy Alan and 1.4 year old Rysse. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy and have worked with kids during my "PT" years (ages ago!)
Hubby and I were introduced to homeschooling during a Pro-Life conference organized by our Catholic community, Couples for Christ, in 2006. Since then, we did our research about homeschooling, and now are convinced and convicted that homeschooling is the BEST education for our kids (at least for now). We are currently blessed to be able to homepreschool Tim and Rysse, albeit informally and without much consistency. :) I believe in the principles and benefits of homeschooling and attachment parenting, and strive hard to live by them. (Though fail miserably a lot of times!) I am also a strong advocate of Catholic lay missions, breastfeeding, pro-life and financial literacy for families. :)
